 * Hi there, I understand this may be out of the scope of your support, but hopefully
   you can point me in the right direction.
   I have created a custom layout for the
   single posts and then have the application button set as sticky. However once
   clicked on the application fills the screen which is fine, but is there a way
   to style the application button, so after activated it can have a “X” or some
   kind of indication by clicking on it, it will close the application?I have been
   trying, but can’t seem to get it working.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fstyling-application-button-after-activated%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * Hi there, [@allincreat](https://wordpress.org/support/users/allincreat/),
 * That’s indeed something that goes beyond the [scope of our support](https://wpjobmanager.com/support-policy/).
 * You can customize the look of every element on your site thanks to CSS. You can
   add that CSS to your theme stylesheet; if you are not familiar with CSS, I would
   recommend this tutorial:

 * Hope that helps!

 * thanks for the reply. Yes understood it’s outside of the scope, I had been trying
   to edit through css, but was having no such luck – will contact a developer.
   Thanks
