# Sub-Category Ordering

 * When I go to “Edit Categories” under Memphis Docs and try to change the order
   numbers of the sub-categories, the numbers are grayed out and they can’t be changed.
 * I want to do this because I want the categories to stay in alphabetical order.
   If I add a category, the only option I currently have is to add it to the end
   of the list, which means it won’t be in alphabetical order any more.
 * Is this how the plugin is supposed to function?
 * Besides this, I love this plugin and will be using it on my company’s intranet
   site.

   adding it when time allows.
