 * I’m new to XHTML/CSS and WP, but have a good knowledge of HTML4.0, so It’s a
   bit of an adjustment…
 * I building a site/blog using the [Generic Design](http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/generic-design)
   theme.
 * I’ve replaced the header title content with an image, however I want to adjust
   the position of the subheader. I’ve tried adding the position (left/top) selector
   within the ‘subheader’ element, but it won’t budge.
 * How can i move the subheader text, independently from the main header image?
 * Any help appreciated.

 * you have to assign position:absolute to #subheader left and top are ignored without
   that
 * I suggest you also assign position:relative to #titleContent
