# Subheading not saving

 * Hi,
 * I’m having an issue where the subheading won’t save when I update the post.
 * I see the subheading field when I create a post, can type text into it – but 
   when I click update the page refreshes and the entered content disappears.
 * I have full admin priviledges, and am running the latest version of WP locally
   on my machine. I have enabled ‘before content’ in settings, and to display on
   posts.
 * I also tried inserting the required line into the template – but I don’t think
   the issue is at that end.. it seems to not be writing correctly to the DB.
 * Any ideas?
