# submenu arrow missing

 * In my theme (Decode) the custom menu shows little arrows beside menu options
   with a submenu … except beside Store.
    Not a huge big deal, but would be nice
   to have it. Any way for me to add it? Or maybe you can add that support in the
   next update? Thanks!

 * Hi [@saladgoat](https://wordpress.org/support/users/saladgoat/),
 * I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
 * Are you talking about the following Decode theme?
 * [https://wordpress.org/themes/decode](https://wordpress.org/themes/decode)
 * If not then could you please share us the theme URL or the site URL which is
   using that theme.
 * Kind Regards,

 * Yes, that is the theme. Here it is in action with your plugin on my site:

 * Hi [@saladgoat](https://wordpress.org/support/users/saladgoat/),
 * Thanks for that link, I see what you mean. You can actually achieve that by configuring
   your menu at Appearance > Menu.
 * If you haven’t already, you can create a new menu per instructions here:
    [http://codex.wordpress.org/Appearance_Menus_Screen](http://codex.wordpress.org/Appearance_Menus_Screen)
 * Then you can use the Pages menu element to add a link to your Store page.
 * And then you could use the Link menu element, one for each of these:
    [http://www.leeaaron.com/wp2012/store/shopping-cart/](http://www.leeaaron.com/wp2012/store/shopping-cart/)
   [http://www.leeaaron.com/wp2012/store/order-status/](http://www.leeaaron.com/wp2012/store/order-status/)
 * You could drag and drop them in place under the Store page so that they’ll be
   child menus under it.
 * That way the menu in the front-end would include those 2 sub-links below it in
   your site’s front-end.
 * How would that work for ya? 🙂
 * Cheers,
    David

 * That does add the arrow, but it also adds much unwantedness.
 * Adding links for each item in the submenu creates duplicate links in the submenu–
   and adds arrows to the original links!
 * I’ve left it so you can see what I mean. The first three entries are the ones
   I added. The second three – the ones with the arrows (that are unnecessary because
   there is no submenu for them) are the original, generated by the plugin.
 * I have been using the same self-created menu, so nothing has changed there.

 * Sorry. I was using an older version because of a glitch with the menu display.
   I see that there have been a few updates since then and have updated to the latest
   version. The menu glitch is fixed and the above-noted fix works for me. Thank
   you!
