Submenus don’t Work on Homepage

I just created the submenu for my videos menu. It works great there, but when I go over to the homepage or the pages that have the background image, it would not work in there. It shows me the drop down menu that are white background with nothing on. How to make the drop down menus visible in those pages? Thank you.
