# Submit Button Hangs “Please wait…”

 * Hi there,
 * For some reason the submit button to make a PayPal donation is not working. It
   simply hangs and says “Please wait…” and nothing happens regardless of how long
   you wait.
 * I tried moving the JS to the footer, that didn’t work. I’ve disabled caching,
   that didn’t work. The plugin is up to date, as is the database and WordPress 
   itself.
 * How can this be solved? Thanks in advance for your help!

 * Hmmmm I see that. That’s very odd because I also don’t see any JS errors on the
   page or anything.
 * My best suggestion would be to deactivate all plugins besides Give. If it works
   as expected then re-activate each plugin one at a time until you see the problem
   again. Then let us know which plugin caused the error and we’ll dig into it.

 * Hi Matt,
 * Thanks for your response. I have done the testing and the conflicting plugin 
   was:
 * Gears 4.1.1 (Author: Dunhakdis)
 * It adds functionality to BuddyPress and I believe it came bundled with a theme
   I purchased. I tried it with the new version of Give and PHP version 7.0 – still
   no good.
 * Any ideas as to what the conflict could be exactly?
