# Submit button spins

 * Hi,
 * We have forms on our website that have worked great for the last 3+ years. Recently,
   when users try to submit to them, when they click Submit, the form just spins.
   The little spinning arrow icon pops up and just spins. I have verified this on
   my mobile device and had someone more than 20 miles away attempt it on a desktop
   computer and it just spun for them as well.
 * Oddly enough, on my desktop computer, on our internal network, when I use the
   website, I can submit the form successfully. Any ideas as to what is causing 
   the issue?

 * Agree, me too. When the REST API is “disabled” (Anonymous Users are blocked),
   Contact Form 7 was not working.
    When I “enable” REST API, Contact Form was working.
 * Workaround: Rollback to Contact Form 4.7

 * is there any easy way to enable the rest api? Any downfalls of enabling it?

 * You can’t enable or disable it. You just can set Anonymous Users blocking. I 
   think you have have a Plugin installed where is doing this. I recommend to blocking
   Anonymous users.
 * So make a rollback to 4.7. A good and easy way to do this is with this plugin:

 * wp-patrick is right. I installed wprollback and rolled Contact Frm back to 4.7
   and everything is working as it should.

 * I am getting the same form submit issue ..mail has sent but loader image shows
   continuously and does not show a success message.
