 * Does anyone know what is the best method to use for a news site that wants to
   give users a chance to submit news, tips and articles?
 * The contact forms that I’ve tried, don’t do the job quite right. I’m looking 
   for something more comprehensive.

 * What do you mean by comprehensive? Are you looking for something that will automatically
   organize submissions in a database, email them to a specific group of people,
   filter them, …?
 * I’ve seen a few solutions, but not sure what your goals are.

 * Basically, what I need is for a system that will allow users to submit articles
   they write for my site.
 * I’m assuming it would need a form of some kind.
 * I would need it to be stored in the WordPress database while it waits for me 
   to publish it. Perhaps I would like an email notification when an article is 
   submitted too.
 * I’m still relatively new to WP, so any help would be appreciated.
