 * Subscribe2 is basically a worthless plugin. It doesn’t work the way it is supposed
to. I shouldn’t have to install additional plugins to make it work. It should
simply work the way it says it does.

 * Subscribe2 doesn’t allow someone to “subscribe” from my blog sidebar widget.
Whenever someone tries to enter their email and click subscribe, it gives this
message… “Sorry, there seems to be an error on the server. Please try again later.”
It doesn’t matter if you try “later”. It doesn’t matter WHEN you try, it DOESN’T
WORK. This is BS. Subscribe2 can’t even perform it’s most basic function?!?

 * I’m sure there’s other users that would beg to differ, but feel free to rant
on. If you’re looking help you’re not really taking the best approach.

 * Many many others are happily using S2 effectively (172 000 downloads) – the likelihood
is that the problem is in your setup.
 * You are not paying for Subscribe2 or for support.
 * Your attitude is unwelcome, unpleasant and plain rude – go and get a good nights
sleep, spend some time in the sunshine before you communicate any further.

 * [@hihblog](https://wordpress.org/support/users/hihblog/),
 * What you are getting is called an error message – it’s telling you that Subscribe2
can’t work because something is wrong. Of course it would be nice if all things‘
just worked’ but when a server is not configured in the right way I think it
best to let the user know. Obviously you disagree.

 * But what is causing this error (I have exact same error)? I am one of the 172,000
downloaders that has it loaded, but could never get the subscribe widget to work.
Ever. I have searched the forums off and on for a year I think and have never
   found an answer.
 * Is there a link to an answer some one knows about?

 * Hi guys 🙂 I’m another one of the 172,000 downloaders and I get this problem
today after 2 weeks of using it.
    Strange I didn’t change anything, I successfully
subscribed 10 users using the widget subscribe2 v5.9 and wordpress 3.0.1–fr_FR.
And suddenly the widget won’t work anymore. So I suspect a problem with the hoster
not the application, maybe a day/limit email relaying or something like that.“
Sorry, there seems to be an error on the server. Please try again later.” I’m
trying to troubleshoot but nothing to help us !

 * Hi my problem has been solved
“Sorry, there seems to be an error on the server.
   Please try again later.”
 * The provider only accept 10 emails/day if the sender is not from the domain where
   your website is hosted.
In subscribers2 change the adress of the sender and
preferably a sender with the same domain where your website is hosted. For my
   exemple I was using a [@gmail](https://wordpress.org/support/users/gmail/) adress
to newsletter subscription from a website hosted at One.com I created a [@one](https://wordpress.org/support/users/one/).
com adress and set it in the subscriber2 as the sender, now it works well !
