# Subscribe2 Plugin Does Not Include Permalink in Per-Post Emails

 * I’m having a problem with the Subscribe2 plugin, and have Googled and searched
   for the answer, but can’t find anything.
 * Even though I have the Subscribe2 settings to include the permalink to the post,
   it just leaves a blank space in the emails sent to subscribers. Here is my template:
 * >  {BLOGNAME} has posted a new item, ‘{TITLE}’
   > {POST}
   > You may view the latest post at
   > {PERMALINK}
   > You received this e-mail because you asked to be notified when new updates 
   > are posted.
 * Here is what comes in the emails:
 * > Chic Steals has posted a new item, ”
   > Buy It or DIY It: New Year’s Eve Party Outfit
   > Whether it’s watching the ball drop in Times Square, rocking out at a packed
   > 
   > party of friends and party-crashers, or just having a low-key get-together 
   > with coworkers and their spouses, the perfect party outfit is only a click…
   > or a project…away. Try this on for an elegant party style: Star Cluster Hair
   > Accessory: Buy It for $26 […]
   > You may view the latest post at
   > You received this e-mail because you asked to be notified when new updates 
   > are
   >  posted.
 * Because I migrated from Blogger, I followed a tutorial that had me change the
   permalink structure to
 * /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%.html
 * Could this custom permalink structure be messing up Subscribe2?
 * Thank you for any help you can provide.

 * Running WordPress 3.5, Headway 3.4.2 (Child Theme).
 * Subscribe2 apparently stopped including the PERMALINK link in the emails around
   Dec. 23, and I did nothing, including installing any new plugins, at that time.

 * Oh, never mind. I saw the thread [here](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/problems-with-the-newest-update)
   about this being a known issue, and uploaded the PHP file fix.
 * Thanks for posting that fix!
