    Hi @199ah,

That’s very odd, as many of our users are able to add gmail.com email addresses to their MailPoet lists.

May I ask you a few more questions to understand the issue better?

    1. Is this happening to specific email addreses you’re adding? Or to any gmail.com address? If this is happening only to a few email addresses, please check if they haven’t been already added to the plugin (even if they have been moved to the Trash folder).
    2. Can you please share the exact steps you’re taking to add these subscribers?

    Hi,

You were right, the address was in the trash folder.

Another issue I am experience is the search window is freezing when trying to enter text, the only way I could search this address was to cut and paste it.

    Any tips?

    Hi @199ah,

Another issue I am experience is the search window is freezing when trying to enter text, the only way I could search this address was to cut and paste it.

This could be related to a browser extension you’re using or a plugin/theme conflict. Can you please try to replicate the issue when using incognito mode?

If it’s still there, please try switching your theme to a default one (Twenty Twenty) and disable all plugins aside from MailPoet, and see if that resolves the issue.

If it does, then enable your theme and all your other plugins one after the other until the issue returns. This will allow you to narrow down what is causing the conflict.

You can refer to this article for more information: How to Test for Theme or Plugins Conflict
