# Subscript Numbers

 * I need to insert subscript number references into a post but when I use the code
   <sub>1</sub>, it places the number 1 at the lower end of the letter rather than
   at the higher. Any ideas please?

 * Use the appropriate html:
 *     ```
       Subscript<sub>1</sub>
       Superscript<sup>1</sup>
       ```
