# Subscription Form Error

 * Since some days subscribing to our newsletter is no longer possible.
    I get the
   error with this text in a red box:
 * _Oops! There is a problem with this form:
    textStatus:error errorThrown:Forbidden
   responseText: Forbidden You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/admin-ajax.
   php on this server.
 * Wordfence Firewall seems to block this Background Request, but no information
   is given to whitelist this request.

 * Yes, I have the same problem and error message (plugin version 2.7.8).
 * When downgrading to plugin version 2.7.5 everything works fine again.
 * Please fix the issue in the next plugin version.

 * The proposed solution did not work!
    (turn off Mod_Security on their websites
   by including this piece of code to the beginning of their .htaccess file: ….)
   did not work. I still get the error message. Sorry, but still need help
