# Subscriptions with Venmo

 * I didn’t add a link since this is a general question I couldn’t find an answer
   to in the support forums. I noticed recently that Venmo allows subscriptions.
   I currently have the Venmo option turned off because I am using WooCommerce Subscriptions
   and was concerned Venmo wouldn’t support it. Does it? Also, if they choose the
   pay with Credit Card option, I’m assuming they’ll have to set up a PayPal account(
   if they don’t have one) to do subscriptions. Is that assumption accurate?

 * Thank you for contacting Payment Plugins. The Venmo payment method does support
   WooCommerce Subscriptions.

 * Are you referring to the Credit Card button that’s part of the PayPal gateway
   or the [Credit Card Gateway](https://paymentplugins.com/documentation/paypal/paypal-credit-card-settings/)?
   A PayPal account is not needed when a customer uses the Credit Card Gateway.
