 * Hi,
 * I’m struggling with this one. I’ve edited the standard registration form for
   a client of mine. However Subscribe2 overwrites the disclaimer that the client
   wants.Basically I need to remove the following text or repalce it.
 * “By registering with this blog you are also agreeing to receive email notifications
   for new posts but you can unsubscribe at anytime.
 * By entering your details you are confirming that you are happy to receive via
   email any updates from this site.”
 * Really stumped and have a headache – I know the wording is in there somewhere
   but I can’t see it for love of money
 * Please help!

 * [@ipbroad](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ipbroad/),
 * You can edit the core code in the classes/class-s2-core.php file in the register_form()
   function or you could create a translation mo file and use an obscure language
   code to apply the translation to achieve this.
 * The latter way takes a little more work now but would survive plugin upgrades
   more easily.

 * Thank you so much for your help. I’ve changed theclasses/class-s2-core.php file
   and that will work for me. I really was getting a headache and must have looked
   in this file several times and gone pased it to quickly.
 * I keep a record of files of this nature that I have to change or alter when I
   do updates anyway.
 * I design/maintain a number of low cost websites for various organisations and
   subscribe2 is by far the best plugin I have found for newsletters.

 * I’m glad to have helped and thanks for the positive feedback. It’s nice to hear
   when someone is a satisfied user of my code 🙂

 * Is there a way that this can appear as a subscribe option on the main page? Here
   is my goal: a Subscribe button on the main page where people can simply enter
   their e-mail address to receive an e-mail when I post something new.
 * Also, I keep getting a mesage that says “You appear to be sending notifications
   from an email address from a different domain name to your blog, this may result
   in failed emails” I’ve always used the same e-mail address. I’m confused. Thank
   you.

 * For future reference please open a new thread rather than tagging unrelated questions
   into old threads.
 * If you want simple form on your front page use the Widget – enable it in the
   Appearance tab on the Subscribe2->Settings page and then place it in the WordPress
   widgets page. To see the form your readers will see make sure you log out.
 * You are getting that warning message as sending emails from an email that doesn’t
   share your domain name is an excellent way to make your emails look like spam
   or to get them blocked on the server. If your website is susandharris.com then
   the sending address should end with @susandharris.com.

 * Sorry, I thought this was a _general forum_ for Subscribe2. My mistake. Thanks
   for the answers!

 * [@harris9513](https://wordpress.org/support/users/harris9513/),
 * It _is_ a general forum for Subscribe2, but forum etiquette usually dictates
   that a new thread is opened for each new issue rather than posting your new issue
   at the end of an existing thread.
 * Of course this same forum etiquette suggests using an appropriate title for the
   thread which is where this original thread fails! 😉
