# Sudden 301 redirection problem

 * Hi,
    I updated WP to 4.4 and now I see a problem on a few articles, being wrongly
   redirected (I used a redirection tester to check this). The website has 3 languages:
   English, Italian and Montenegrin. If you visit this post in English: [https://www.zuber-gregovic.me/2015/04/vijesti-online-podgorica-2015-en/](https://www.zuber-gregovic.me/2015/04/vijesti-online-podgorica-2015-en/)
   then you select the Italian flag (the URL should be [https://www.zuber-gregovic.me/2015/04/vijesti-online-podgorica-2015-ita/](https://www.zuber-gregovic.me/2015/04/vijesti-online-podgorica-2015-ita/)),
   you’ll get the same English page!

    Did you test with Twenty Fifteen + only Polylang, with the other plugins 
   deactivated? Have you still this redirection in this configuration?

 * It’s a bug in WP 4.4.

    ** thank you so much! The fix for the WP ticket 35031 did work!  
   Do you know if with the next WP release it will be better to remove the code 
   used to fix this redirection problem?
