 * Hi,
 * I would like to suggest a new feature:
    How about adding a functionality to the
   WordPress menu? I would love to see the possibility to have links to different
   filtered views (e.g. taxonomy category -> term cat1; taxonomy manufacturer ->
   term man1) and have the item highlighted appropiately.
 * Best
    M

 * Hello,
 * I appreciate you taking the time to suggest improvements!
 * However you could easily create those links yourself with the custom link menu
   item. Just copy and paste a filtered pages url and you’re done. Regarding highlighting,
   thats a bit trickier as that’s entirely handled by WordPress. In order to let
   wordpress automatically highlight those menu items one would have to create a
   custom walker for one’s menu.
 * I think it’s a far stretch to highjack a themes menu with a custom walker just
   for this functionality. As for having an easier way to create those links there
   poses a few big challenges which all boils down to the amount of variations possible.
 * Let’s say you have a post type with 4 different taxonomies and in each taxonomy
   you have 20 terms (quite reasonable, some might have less some might have more)
   you’d be looking at 4845 possible combinations. I can’t possibly create a link
   option for each one. But okay, say we just want the one term.. no combinations
   of terms. that would still result in 80 link options which would have to be dynamically
   calculated each time you visit the menu settings page. I have seem users with
   more than 50 terms in 4-5 taxonomies.. you get the idea 🙂
 * All in all I don’t think this is a highly requested feature and you can almost
   just as easy create a custom link of your own when needed so I’m afraid for now
   this is not something that will be coded into the plugin 🙂
