Hello,
We are currently using your Perfect WooCommerce Brands (PWB) plugin on our WooCommerce store.
We have noticed two related issues with the search and filtering behavior on our website:
- Sidebar Brand Filter Issue
When a user searches for a keyword (for example a brand name like “Testo” or a category like “ventilation”), the URL includes search-related query parameters. In this case, the PWB sidebar brand filter widget seems to respond to the search context and only displays the related brand(s), while other brands appear empty or not relevant.
Our expectation is that the sidebar should dynamically show only the brands related to the current search context (for example, if “Testo” is searched, only “Testo” should appear in the sidebar; if “ventilation” is searched, only ventilation-related brands should appear). - Search Results Showing Irrelevant Products
In addition, when performing a search, unrelated products are also being displayed in the results. For example, when searching for “ventilation,” we expect only ventilation-related products to appear, but irrelevant products are also included in the results.
Could you please advise if there is a recommended configuration, filter adjustment, or hook we should use to ensure:
- The sidebar brand filter dynamically matches the search context
- The product search results return only relevant products based on the search query
Thank you for your support.
