# Support Forums Broken

 * No, this is not an issue with WordPress, but it might as well be. The problem
   is that I can’t search the forums for a possible solution to my issue, I have
   to search everything. That’s no good, since the bulk of initial returns comes
   from the documentation. If the documentation could serve my needs, I wouldn’t
   be searching the forums. Some problems are too dynamic to be solved with a quick
   look at the docs. There are too many moving parts in WP, and it’s more likely
   that I’ll find someone who shares my exact or similar problem, and their solution
   will help me find one.
 * The fix? Put a search function in the forums that only searches the forums.
 * Please.

 * At present, we don’t have good searching on these forums. Plans exist to upgrade
   the forums to newer versions soon, which will give us those capabilities.

 * In the meantime, you can use Google and restrict it to searching the WordPress
   forums by putting this into the Google search box:
 * site:[https://wordpress.org/support/](https://wordpress.org/support/) describe
   problem
