 * I have Site Origin Widget Bundle and and Site Origin Page Builder activated but
   the edit page format is as shown below, even with all other plugins deactivated:
 * [https://snipboard.io/xkbWFa.jpg](https://snipboard.io/xkbWFa.jpg)
 * I have also lost my top menu and have limited functionality on ‘manage menus’
   so cannot rebuild them.
 * This all occurred after I noticed I could not upload images or text. Further
   investigation revealed that my WordPress version was really outdated and the
   reason I was unaware was because the server was running an outdated version of
   PHP. Requested update of PHP from hosting company and this is what happened when
   they did so.
 * All help appreciated
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fsuspectsite-origin-plugins-are-notfunctioning%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hi Neil
 * It looks like a classic page has been opened in the Block Editor. Please, try
   going to Plugins and installing the Classic Editor plugin. Once activated try
   re-opening the page in the Classic Editor. If the page hasn’t been edited in
   the Block Editor then it should restore without issue.

 * Well thankyou
 * That has certainly got my classic editor back. Can you suggest where I go next
   to restore the manage menu functionality, upload of images and text.
 * Regards

 * Actually it will display in page builder, but will not save as such

 * When clicking on the Page Builder tab, is the layout intact? What happens when
   you save?

 * When I select the Page builder tab I see the correct page format, but when I
   select ‘Update’ it reverts to the text tab

 * You can either check for console errors which is semi-technical and try to diagnose
   the issue directly [https://wordpress.org/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/#step-3-diagnosis](https://wordpress.org/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/#step-3-diagnosis)
   or you can run a plugin conflict test. To run a plugin conflict test temporarily
   deactivate all plugins not authored by SiteOrigin. In that state, does the issue
   resolve?

 * I have no other plugins activated. Is the plug in conflict test a plugin itself?

 * No, it isn’t a plugin, we’re just seeking a working baseline. Please, try extending
   the test. Temporarily deactivate all plugins except Page Builder and also temporarily
   switch to a default theme like Twenty Nineteen. In that state, does the issue
   resolve?

 * Same response in theme 2021 with only page builder activated

 * Thanks. Try saving the page, when the error occurs, open the console, if errors
   are present in red text, please, send a screenshot.

 * I have also just noticed that when attempting to ‘Update’I am actually deleting
   the content from the pages (3 web pages now gone)

 * In addition to my previous request:
 * * You can use the page revision feature to get that content back.
 * * Update from what position? In the Page Builder tab with the layout intact?
 * * What is happening when you update? Is the page reloading? Which tab do you
   land up on after the save?

 * I have been using Google Chrome (recently updated). Just tried the same actions
   with Internet explorer. The Page builder format is now retained, but the content
   still appears to be deleted

 * When the issue occurs, please, check for console errors. If errors are present
   they’ll be in red text. If present, screenshot, upload the screenshot to a cloud
   site, and send the link.
