 * [5 years, 2 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/suspectsite-origin-plugins-are-notfunctioning/)
 * I have Site Origin Widget Bundle and and Site Origin Page Builder activated but
   the edit page format is as shown below, even with all other plugins deactivated:
 * [https://snipboard.io/xkbWFa.jpg](https://snipboard.io/xkbWFa.jpg)
 * I have also lost my top menu and have limited functionality on ‘manage menus’
   so cannot rebuild them.
 * This all occurred after I noticed I could not upload images or text. Further
   investigation revealed that my WordPress version was really outdated and the
   reason I was unaware was because the server was running an outdated version of
   PHP. Requested update of PHP from hosting company and this is what happened when
   they did so.
 * All help appreciated
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fsuspectsite-origin-plugins-are-notfunctioning%2Fpage%2F2%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Please, see the below link. When the issue occurs on save, open the console,
   if errors are present in red text, screenshot, and send. The below link explains
   how to open the console.

 * Does Page Builder function normally if you create a new page, add Editor widgets
   and save?

 * Same problem. Page is ok until ‘save draft’ or ‘publish’ is selected; at which
   point it returns to text

 * By default, Page Builder should function normally on a new page. Were there definitely
   no other plugins activated when you ran the plugin conflict test? To confirm,
   you tested with every single plugin deactivated except for Page Builder and Twenty
   Twenty theme activated?

 * Is the result above the same with the exact same setup as above but with the
   following two plugins also activated:
 * * SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle.
    * Classic Editor.

 * The next step would be to check the PHP error logs and then recreate these steps.
   With your test page, add content to Page Builder, save, observe the failure then
   check the log file. It’s another semi-technical task but all we really have left
   at this stage having checked everything else.

 * If you don’t normally use an FTP client to access files on your server you can
   use the Hosting File Manager accessible via your hosting dashboard.
