# SVG Plugin

 * I have used a plugin for SVG’s on my site called IconPress which has abruptly
   closed and I’m looking for advise on moving forward. I’d like to keep using SVG
   icons but am unclear on which plugins are going to be actively supported. Does
   anyone have any suggestions? Or should I just move away from SVG’s entirely and
   go to good ol’ JPG, or WEBP?

 * There is a great plugin called SVG Support: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/svg-support/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/svg-support/)
   
   The only downside to using SVG instead of bitmap is the security issue of the
   XML-based SVG file. But, if you’re using SVGs from reputable sources, it should
   be fine.
