# Switching default language

 * How can I switch the default language without loosing data from pages and posts?
 * I have 2 languages, English and French. English was default. I now want French
   to be default.
 * If I edit the config file, changing:
 * define( ‘MULTILINGUAL_WPLANG’ , ‘en’ );
 * to
 * define( ‘MULTILINGUAL_WPLANG’ , ‘fr’ );
 * the French text box contains the old English text and I loose the old French 
   text – the new English text box is blank. Switching it back in the config file
   restores everything.
 * Any ideas?
