# sync state local changes

 * Hello, I am having a problem with sync state changing from synced to local changes.
   I see this mentioned in the forum a year ago but for me it is unresolved. Have
   there been any remedies recommended? Thank you.

   question.
 * I _have_ seen templates that pre-date newer plugin features reporting “Local 
   Changes” when there are seemingly none when manually checking. I was wondering
   if you’re seeing this reported in Central too, or are the templates claiming 
   to be OK, but you’re just not seeing the settings reflected on the sites?
 * The solution to the above was to duplicate the existing template, then move your
   sites over to the new version of that template and re-sync. Can you let me know
   if that has any effect or produces exactly the same results? Also let me know
   if you’re running a mixture of Free and Premium sites.
