Syndicate certain categories

Hi,
Is it possible to import posts of a certain category?

I’m making a site of different students associations. We need to import to our site posts from the different associations sites that belongs to one category (for example news). We don’t need the rest of the posts.

Every association would create this category in their blog site to assign it to the common posts.
