# Syntax error after GDPR hack

 * I had the same hack through the GDPR plug-in as everyone else, but I can’t access
   my site. I get this message: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘text’ (T_STRING)
   in /home/pember7/public_html/wp-includes/class-oembed.php on line 461

 * Question 1: How do I fix this?
 * Question 2: I can’t delete the GDPR plug-in the usual way because I can’t access
   the dashboard. If I simply delete the plug-in folder on cpanel, will that do 
   the same thing, or will it cause a problem?

 * Get a fresh cup of coffee, take a deep breath and carefully follow [this guide](https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_My_site_was_hacked).
   When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of [the recommended security measures](https://codex.wordpress.org/Hardening_WordPress).
 * If you’re unable to clean your site(s) successfully, there are reputable organizations
   that can clean your sites for you. Sucuri and Wordfence are a couple.

   But I Am Not Using This Plugin, Any Help Will Be A Great Tension Reducer And 
   Time Saver For Me.
