# Syntax Error and Strange issues…

 * I completed the install and first attempted to import a Blogger blog. Nothing
   would happen – at the bottom internet explorer I was getting the message “Done,
   with errors on page” and the listed error is a “Syntax Error”.
 * My other issue that I think is related. I am able to publish a post and it shows
   up properly when I look at my site – but on the WP post interface – the only 
   way I can see the text is if I highlight it. Otherwise, it’s apparently white
   on white and I can’t see it.
 * Every page I go to on the WP admin site I get an error at the bottom. Any suggestions!??

 * have you upoloaded ALL the files? have you confirmed that they are all there?
 * have you disabled ALL of your plugins to rule out plugin conflicts?

 * Thanks for your reply. I just finished confirming that all files are there. I
   haven’t yet activated any plugins. Any ideas on next steps?
 * Would it help to see what errors I’m getting on different pages?

 * My FTP site gives me two uploading options. One is ASCII and one is Binary. I
   am going to re-upload the files with ASCII selected and not binary and see what
   happens….
