# syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘

 * When I want to access my Website I get the following error: Parse error: syntax
   error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/content/85/9814485/html/wp-content/plugins/link-
   library/link-library.php on line 534
 * I cannot get into the Dashboard. What is the cause of the error and how can I
   fix it. I am hosting my site on GoDaddy.

 * Please update to Link Library 7.1, in which I included a fix for this issue. 
   I guess you had not updated in a while. The code that it’s complaining about 
   has been out since April 1st and no one else reporting any issue with this. The
   issue is that I used a shorthand syntax for the definition of some arrays that
   is not supported on your GoDaddy hosting server. I changed it to a more traditional
   syntax so it should now work correctly.
 * Since you can’t go into your site admin, you’ll need to update the plugin by 
   downloading it from this site and uploading the replacement plugin via FTP.
 * Please confirm if this fixes the issue and consider donating to support this 
   plugin’s development.
