# syntax error, unexpected $end, expecting T_VARIABLE

 * Hi,
    After setting up database connection and uploading the site, i am getting
   the following error
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end, expecting T_VARIABLE or ‘$’ in /home/
   media/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/functions-post.php on line 686
 * If you need I can post the file somewhere… i checked the file doesnt look like
   there is “$” extra or missing or nething like that… still not a php programmer…
   could be wrong… please help this is my first try on this
