# syntax error, unexpected ‘=’ for comments

 * Regards Greg! When trying to enable comments for each ad, I add as you indicate:

   However I throw the following error in line 2: syntax error, unexpected ‘=’
 * What should I do about it?

    hmm i am not sure, how do you install the snippet?
 * It is best to just download a raw version of the file here [https://raw.githubusercontent.com/simpliko/wpadverts-snippets/master/enable-comments/enable-comments.php](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/simpliko/wpadverts-snippets/master/enable-comments/enable-comments.php),
   press Ctrl + s to save it to your computer as enable-comments.php and then upload
   the file via FTP to wp-content/plugins folder and activate the Enable Comments
   plugin from wp-admin / Plugins panel.
 * If you are copying the code from enable-comments.php to your theme functions.
   php then most likely there is something incorrectly copied but i cannot tell 
   what without looking at the file.
