# SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘)’

 * I’m in over my head. Installed AO today. Was running Async Javascript plugin 
   already. Now my client’s site is broken. It’s not loading fully in either Safari
   or Chrome. I’m on a Mac. SCRIPT_DEBUG did not fix the error.
 * Safari error console shows SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘)’

   if you want to get JS optimization working, you could very likely do so by excluding
   a specific JS-file from optimization, cfr. troubleshooting info in [the FAQ](https://wordpress.org/plugins/autoptimize/#faq).
