 * Tried to manually upload 3.2.1 from (possibly) 2.something. Get the following
   message:
 * unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/site/public_html/blog/wp-includes/cache.php on
   line 353
 * So cant login or see site (only WP blog is fialing, site ok)

 * You need to carry out a series of smaller upgrades when moving from such an old
   version to the current one. Something like 2.2 -> 2.3 -> 2.5 -> 2.7 -> 2.8 ->
   2.9 -> 3.0 -> 3.2.1 should work.

 * As I have no content of any import I may just try setting up from new. have tried
   several installs and keep getting the same error.
