 * Hello,
 * Is there a way or a different widget to display posts from specific categories
   just as the “CoverNews Tabbed Posts” widget does it? I can’t find any way to 
   display some of my categories as tabs instead of popular, trending and latest.

 * Actually, that widget is developed for the specific purpose. So, you can’t use
   it with other category. However, you can make a new widget by customizing the
   theme.
 * Note: [Child Theme ](https://www.wpentire.com/wordpress-child-themes/)is recommended
   to customize the theme.
