# Table background colour

 * I have inserted a table on a page. I have tried simple HTML and the TablePress
   plugin.
 * No matter what I do with the plugin-insertable CSS or HTML in the Text area, 
   the table background is a sickly yellow. I’d like to make it grey.
 * Ideas for this?

 * It’s a short code with CSS added at the plugin settings level. And color is specified
   there. That’s what made me think the theme is driving it.

 * Search for this color code: #f3eab7
    within main.css in css folder of theme.
 * It should be line 211 or 210.
 * Change the color to whatever you wish for the table background color to change.
