# Table doesn’t exist

 * Hi, I installed Events Made Easy and it gave an error. Then I uninstalled it,
   deleting it completely, and then re-installed it again. The first thing I did
   was try to create a new location but it has given an error:
 *     ```
       WordPress database error: [Table 'wp_k5jy4.wp_eme_locations' doesn't exist]
       SHOW FULL COLUMNS FROM <code>wp_eme_locations</code>
   
       WordPress database error: [Table 'wp_k5jy4.wp_eme_locations' doesn't exist]
       SHOW FULL COLUMNS FROM <code>wp_eme_locations</code>
       ```

 * That means your mysql version is too old. It needs to be at least 5.6 (5.5 is
   end of life)

 * Thanks Franky, I’ve just asked my hosting company to upgrade it. They said that
   I’m on a shared server so need to get a senior person to authorise that, so a
   bit of a wait now… Thanks for your help.
