    HI Tobias,

I’m having trouble getting the mobile browser and tablepress to play nice with each other. When I remove the tables, the remaining web page loads properly on my mobile phone browser (iphone safari). However, when I add the tablepress tables, the moblie browser smashes the webpage content to fit the table.

The tables work well in Chrome and Safari on my mac but not the mobile phone browser. Most of my customers view and register using their phone, so I’m hoping there is a fix.

Thanks, I”m a big fan of this product.

    Best,

    Tom Berry

  • Yes, I was hoping that my two column table would reduce to one column when viewed in mobile devices but it doesn’t. I hope there is an easy fix for this, too! 🙂

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

@tom: Please uncheck the “Use DataTables” field on the “Edit” screen of these tables. It’s of no use here, as you have turned off the individual features already.
Then, please take a look at using the scroll mode of the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/
That might be the best option here.

@tgendron: Unfortunately, I’ll have to disappoint you here: Due to how tables work on the web and in browsers, they can not simply switch to a one-column layout 🙁
You might therefore also want to check out that Extension from the link above.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    OK, thanks Tobias 🙂
