# Table in Posts.

 * Hi There,
 * I’m trying to add a Table to my post (it’s essentially tabular data) but wordpress
   insists on changing it to `<p>` and `<br>` tags… so my table looks something 
   like this:
 * Money (Euro)
    Money(ZAR) Economists Profit (Euro) Profit (ZAR)
 * 500,000
    4,000,000 1 0 0
 * No this isn’t very usable. Is there anyway I can do this in WP so that it actually
   displays the table ?

 * If you put in the correct html tags for a table it should display properly. I
   did it in [in this post](http://www.transycan.net/wp/archives/2004/12/16/reading-patterns/).

 * This only happens on the excerpt, not in the full blog entry, which is fine, 
   as I don’t wan’t the table to display in the excerpt. (I didn’t look)
