 * I was wondering since the tablepress plugin uses an ID code to pull it into the
   page, is there a way to have someone be able to access the table to make changes
   without giving them access to anything else in the dashboard area?

 * Hi,
 * thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
 * You could probably use the WordPress role and capability system to restrict a
   user to accessing TablePress, but nothing else in the Dashboard.
    That’s however
   not really reliable, as other plugins don’t always use that system. Then, you
   would however still need a solution where a user can only edit a given table
   ID, which is not yet possible.
 * Sorry for not having better news here.
 * Regards,
    Tobias

 * I didn’t want to restrict them from the tablepress, I will only be using one
   table but I wanted to restrict them from the rest of the dashboard. But that’s
   ok.
    Also, I was looking for a solution to make the whole table bigger. I am
   using a page with no sidebar(only that page) so I can span the table the entire
   width of the page, however, when I disable the sidebar it still does not get
   any wider. any docs on this? I saw the one for columns but not the whole table.
   Thanks, Ken

 * Hi,
 * ah, ok. Thanks for the clarification!
    That should be possible then, or at least
   you can try it. I suggest to install the Members plugin from [http://wordpress.org/plugins/members/](http://wordpress.org/plugins/members/)
   and then create a new user role that only has the “read” capability and the relevant
   ones from TablePress (see the other roles for an example, or refer to the list
   at [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/tablepress-admin-capabilites-problems?replies=8#post-3931888](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/tablepress-admin-capabilites-problems?replies=8#post-3931888))
   With this, you can restrict the users from everything but TablePress, but you
   should really test this a lot.
 * Regarding the full width: That’s not something that TablePress can influence,
   but it’s a theme issue. You should maybe contact your theme’s developer and ask
   him for a solution to make content span the full width. (A TablePress table will
   always span 100% of the space that it is given by the theme, by default.)
