¿Tablepress database search?

    Hi!

    Quick question here. I run an NBA info site, an in order to run it properly I use your plugin a lot (as you can see in the link, I need tables to put the players salaries, etc).

    Question: Is there any way (I’m sure there is) to let the user search through ALL the tables I have in my site and return that same user the info he’s asking?

    Quick example: Some user wants to know which players have only two years left on his current contract. There is a pair of options boxes and one of them is “Search by years left”. The user selects the option “two” and the site returns ALL the players that have two years left on his contract.

    I can write a little bit of php, and I’m quite sure this can be done writing the proper code. But I don’t know if it would be easy or not.

    I hope I have made myself clear. If not, I’ll rewrite the question if you need to. English ain’t my native tongue!

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Unfortunately, I’ll have to disappoint you here. I’m not aware of a directly usable solution to here. As TablePress does not use mySQL database tables, you can not really query it for information. Your best chance might be to implement a custom solution using e.g. the DataTables JS library.
