Hi,
thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
Most likely, this means that some plugin (e.g. “User Role Editor”) has somehow changed the TablePress capabilities from your user role.
I suggest that you try to restore them with a plugin like Members (from http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/members/ ) which has a nice User Manager component. You can find the relevant capabilities in this thread: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/tablepress-admin-capabilites-problems
If that does not help, please let me know. It might then be a good idea, if I take a direct look at this on your site.

Tobias
Hi Tobias,
This issue has come up on many threads and it is not a solution in your frequently asked questions section. I have now plugged in Members and checked for any roles that might have been disassociated from the plugin but I don’t even see the roles for
Tried the following:
- Change theme to 2011 – no joy
- Deactivate all plugins – no joy
- Install Members, check roles – no joy
Is there something else I am meant to be checking? I don’t know what else might have changed the roles, other than this new theme I am using.
Have a look at this: http://screencast.com/t/eH75PvcEuv
Many thanks
Hi,
thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
This is likely related to the capabilities, which might have to be restored.
For that, please try the instructions in this post: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/troubles-with-tablepress-rights?replies=4#post-5585107

Hi,
could a moderator maybe fix the HTML that breaks the layout on this page? I suspect it to be in the list of sixfootjames’s post.
Thanks a lot!

Tobias
