 * I’m facing a problem with TablePress tables on my WordPress site. Please see
   the following images.
   [https://ibb.co/vCMWtkLs](https://ibb.co/vCMWtkLs)and[https://ibb.co/Kppx0Hnr](https://ibb.co/Kppx0Hnr)
   The first one is a table at “normal” resolution. The second is the same table
   displayed on mobile devices or when I reduce the browser size – it breaks vertically,
   making it very difficult to read.
 * I suspect it’s my theme’s CSS overriding TablePress’s CSS that’s causing this
   undesirable effect, but I’d like to know if there’s any way to “shield” the table’s
   CSS to prevent this from happening.
 * Below, more information about my WordPress site and the theme used:
   WordPress
   6.9.1TablePress 3.2.7GeneratePress theme 3.6.1 with the GeneratePress premium
   plugin 2.5.5Thank you in advance!

 * Hi,
 * Thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble!
 * This is actually all caused by some “Custom CSS” code on the “Plugin Options”
   screen of TablePress, from what I can see.
   If you remove the entire block of
   code that starts with the line
 *     ```wp-block-code
       @media only screen and (max-width: 760px),
       ```
 * things should be back to normal.
 * As alternatives to this custom approach, I recommend checking out the [Responsive Tables feature module](http://tablepress.org/modules/responsive-tables/)
   of the TablePress premium versions, which offers several nice (and stable 🙂 )
   ways to make your tables look great on smaller screens.
 * Best wishes,
   Tobias
 * First, thank you very, very much for the quick response.
   It’s always a pleasure
   to see that even with the free version of the plugin we can receive such good
   service. I can only imagine what the Premium version is like – which I haven’t
   purchased yet because it’s a bit expensive for me! `(^_^;)`Well, I removed the
   CSS block you mentioned and also enabled horizontal scrolling for that table,
   but the problem persisted. So I imagine it’s another issue!
 * Hi,
 * for me, the issue is now gone, after hard-reloading the page (via the keyboard
   shortcut`cmd/ctrl + Shift + R`) to clear the cache. You could also check in a
   private/incognito browser tab.
 * Regards,
   Tobias
