    Hi Tobias,

    I don’t know how well you know the Nextgen Gallery plugin, but my website has over 4000 galleries with over 25,000 images in it, and we use Tablespress with links to pages with those galleries on.

    WIthin nextgen, there is a field called Preview Image, and I wandered if you knew of a way of calling that Preview image to display if we know the gallery number.

    At the moment we are having to insert a thumbnmail, when in fact it would be easier to call the featured image as they do change regularly as we get higher quality versions of the images submitted.

    Hi Steve,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with the NextGen Gallery plugin at all, sorry 🙁

    The question comes down to what methods they offer to get that Preview image. If it’s a Shortcode, you could directly use that. If they only offer PHP code, you could maybe write a small Shortcode around it.
