“ tag in title

Probably similar question to this post; we sometimes put a <br/> tag in post titles. If the title is truncated, the tag shows. If the title is not truncated, the title line breaks. I tried %ftitle% instead of %htitle%; it doesn’t seem to change things; it’s the checkbox for title length that does. (example).
