 * Hello,
 * Several times since the last updates when iThemes became Solid Security, WP detected
   an error when loading the plugin Solid Security. Each time WP sends me an email(
   new functionality from the latest version) :
 *     ```wp-block-code
       Bonjour !

       WordPress dispose d’une fonctionnalité native permettant de détecter si une extension ou un thème cause une erreur fatale sur votre site, et vous notifie avec cet e-mail automatique.

       Ici, WordPress a trouvé une erreur avec l’une de vos extensions, « Solid Security Basic ».

       Commencez par visiter votre site (https://orchid-info.org/) pour vérifier s’il y a des problèmes visibles. Ensuite, visitez la page où une erreur a été relevée (https://orchid-info.org/wp-login.php) et vérifiez si des problèmes sont visibles.

       Veuillez contacter votre hébergeur pour une assistance concernant la résolution de ce problème.

       Si votre site semble cassé ou si vous ne pouvez pas accéder à votre tableau de bord normalement, WordPress dispose maintenant d’un « mode de récupération ». Cela vous permet de vous connecter en sécurité sur votre tableau de bord afin de chercher la source du problème.

       https://orchid-info.org/wp-login.php?action=enter_recovery_modeXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

       Pour garder votre site en sécurité, ce lien expirera dans 1 jour. Ne vous inquiétez cependant pas : un nouveau lien vous sera envoyé si l’erreur se présente à nouveau.

       Si vous cherchez de l’aide pour ce problème, les informations suivantes pourraient vous être demandées :
       WordPress version 6.4.1
       Thème actif : Astra Child (version 1.0.0) Extension actuelle : Solid Security Basic (version 9.0.3) PHP version 8.0.30

       Détails de l’erreur
       ======================
       Une erreur de type E_ERROR a été causée dans la ligne 98 du fichier /home/orchidb/www/wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/core/modules/two-factor/includes/template.php. Message d’erreur : Uncaught ArgumentCountError: 6 arguments are required, 5 given in /home/orchidb/www/wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/core/modules/two-factor/includes/template.php:98
       Stack trace:
       #0 /home/orchidb/www/wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/core/modules/two-factor/includes/template.php(98): printf('Pour les appare...', '', '
       ```
 * When I enter “recuperation mode” via the link in the email, I can reload the
   plugin and it works fine for a week or so, but it happens again a few days later.
 * Plus, there is a HUGE security issue that might be linked to this problem: the
   Solid Security settings are available to all members! Luckily I only have staff
   members that have an account. Here is an example of a test account I created
   with subscriber permissions: [https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1FVKajk7FS5ASa8QIv3dKFqKdOFSLEtSi?usp=sharing](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1FVKajk7FS5ASa8QIv3dKFqKdOFSLEtSi?usp=sharing)
 * Can you help with that?
 * Thanks.
 * Hi [@ausar920](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ausar920/), thanks for reaching
   out and we’re here to help!
   The `Uncaught ArgumentCountError: 6 arguments are
   required, 5 given in /home/orchidb/www/wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/
   core/modules/two-factor/includes/template.php:98` is related to the 2FA configuration
   translation issue you’re having on this [post](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/two-factor-configuration-2/).
   To resolve this, you’ll need to contact the translation editors for French Solid
   Security, as suggested by [@nlpro](https://wordpress.org/support/users/nlpro/),
   or you can ask for guidance via the Slack #polyglots channel mentioned here:
   [_Before you get started_](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/translating/how-to-translate/#before-you-get-started).
 * As for your subscriber user having access to the plugin’s settings, I’ve spun
   up a test site to replicate, but as expected, the subscriber user I created does
   not have access to the settings. Can you make sure that the “**Manage Solid Security**”
   setting in your **Security > Settings > User Groups > Contributors** is **OFF**?
   You can also try editing the Contributors user group and checking the “**Subscriber
   Capabilities**” to see if that helps.
 * Let me know how it goes!
 * Hi [@shanedelierrr](https://wordpress.org/support/users/shanedelierrr/),
 * Thanks for your help. I just contacted a translation editor regarding the 2FA
   problem I have.
 * The “Contributors” options were obviously OFF, but I resolved the problem. It
   was due to my misunderstanding of the “Security > Settings > User Groups > Change
   the group” setting. I thought checking the boxes would add all the member capabilities
   to the Administrators group, not give administrator capabilities to every other
   group. I think the translation could be improved there.
 * It is fixed, thanks!
