# Template Code not editable anymore

 * Hi,
    in a former version of Gutenberg the templates of the page editor where 
   editable. Since the last version templates are integrated in the page-editor,
   but there is no code editor available anymore.
 * How can I change the changes I have made in the code editor before? Or do you
   plan to bring the code-editor back?

 * Once Gutenberg 12.5 is released you will be able to edit template code in the
   Site Editor. [Here’s the pull request](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/37765)
   if you’re interested.
 * As for editing the template code in the page editor, I’m not sure it has ever
   been possible to do that. You may want to open a [new issue](https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/new?assignees=&labels=&template=Feature_request.md)
   as a feature request on github.
