 * I have installed WordPress in a different directory than the blog iteslf. This
is a great idea, and keeps everything cleaner than it would otherwise be – Thanks

One small problem that I have found is that the template editing tab now shows
the following error at the top of the page: Editing index.php Oops, no such file
exists! Double check the name and try again, merci. I think this is where the
main template would be shown, but in this case it can’t find it because it is
looking in the WordPress folder, not the home directory.

 * Did you follow all the instructions here for your install ?
    Different directories

 * This is problem that has been noted before. You cannot use the Template Editor
on pages “below” the wordpress directory, or to put it better, in a super-directory
   relative to the wordpress directory.
A search of these forums might lead to
   a solution.

 * Ah… in that case, lines 153-157 of templates.php have the hrefs
    -
you could open that up and replace the hrefs ? (and while you are at it,
add one for the css 🙂 )

 * Good idea – tried it out. Maybe I am being dense, but why don’t the standard ./
and ../ file reference functions work here?
