template for widget

I am a first time user and site developer learning as I go and I have 2 problems.

1. In the templates section there is this option “Use the same template for widgets!” I unclicked the box because I wanted the poll to be 2 places: white and 400px in my right side bar and grey and 600px inserted on a page. Problem is it is showing up as grey and 600px in both the side bar and the page. How do I change this? I need the widget size to be 400px for my side bar.

2. After I installed yop poll on my site on 01.02.16 my SumoMe badge disappeared. As a result I can’t makes changes to my SumoMe apps.

I would really appreciate the help.
