# Template missing

 * Hello,
 * after the latest update of the plugin, the custom template for **receipts** is
   no longer being loaded.
 * Before the update, the plugin correctly used our custom template located at:
 * `/wp-content/themes/custom-theme-child/woocommerce/pdf/mytemplate/receipt.php`
 * Now the receipt document ignores this file and falls back to the default template.
 * As a temporary workaround, I had to modify the plugin template directly here:
 * `/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packing-slips/templates/Simple/
   invoice.pdf`
 * which is obviously not a correct or sustainable solution because it will be overwritten
   on the next update.
 * Important clarification:
   I need to customize the **receipt** template, not the
   fiscal receipt / invoice template. The fiscal receipt layout works as expected—
   only the standard receipt no longer loads the custom template.
 * Could you please clarify:
    - whether the template path or override logic for receipts has changed in the
      latest version
    - if the receipt document type still supports custom templates in `/woocommerce/
      pdf/`
    - and what is now the correct way to override the receipt template

   or is it maybe the receipt that [PDF Invoices Italian Add-on for WooCommerce](https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoices-italian-add-on/)?
