 * I created a template out of a section – a call to action button.
    I’ve inserted
   this template into 20 pages of my site. Now, I need to change the link of the
   button. Editing the template and saving it does not update it’s instances on
   all the pages of the site. Is this not available? What would be the way to update
   this section on all the site’s pages? What happens if the site has 100’s of pages
   with that template section, would we need to update it manually?
 * Thanks
    Dan

 * Hi Dan,
 * Global Widgets/Templates/Sections is functionality that’s included in the [Pro](https://elementor.com/pro/)
   version of Elementor only, not the free.
 * I’ve found that it’s possible to include an Elementor Template/Section globally
   in posts/pages/widgets using the [Display Posts Shortcode plugin](https://wordpress.org/plugins/display-posts-shortcode/).
   Find the post_id (e.g. 101) of the Template (Elementor > My Library) in question(
   I use the [Show IDs plugin](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpsite-show-ids/) to
   make this easier) and use this example code:
 * `[display-posts post_type="elementor_library" id="101" include_content="true"
   include_title="false" wrapper="div" wrapper_class="display-posts-elementor-library-
   call-to-action-button-styling"]`
 * Works well for me.

 * Another way would be to use the free version of AnyWhere Elementor. Create your
   template with it and then paste the generated shortcode wherever you need it.
   Update the AE template and the changes are reflected everywhere it’s used. AE
   was initially created to address this sort of issue well before E Pro was released
   🙂
